Two Harlow girls were selected for this weekend’s Girls U18s Hertfordshire county squad, Katie Boggas and Ellie Lennon.
Katie was in the starting line up playing one of her newer positions at 8 in the first half, and before moving to hooker in second half.She was a key part of the line-outs, both lifting and jumping: catching the ball in the line outs as if she had velcro on her hands.
Ellie came on in the second half as inside centre: she normally plays fly half or centre at Club level. Both Katie and Ellie made a great impact in the game with their tackling, passing and general game play.
The next Girls County Fixture is on Sunday 20th November when Hertfordshire play Buckinghamshire.
