Harlow Rugby Club Remembers – 9 November 2019

Harlow Rugby Club are proud to support The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal and help in making a contribution to raising much-needed funds to help people in the Armed Forces community.

During our 1st XV game on 9 November 2019 players will wear specially commissioned shirts which have been generously sponsored by Robert Stuart Ltd at the request of club stalwart and British Legion supporter Simon Turner.

The match worn shirts will be auctioned after the game, with all the funds raised going to The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

This money will help the Legion offer support in many ways including providing crisis grants, lobbying the government on issues that affect the Armed Forces community, providing sport and art based recovery programmes and advising on benefits and money problems.

You are able to submit commission bids in the auction for these shirts (Nos. 1 – 20) by e-mailing Paul Tucker (Tux) rugby@harlowrugby.club
