Alex Fleming

It is with much regret that we have to inform you of the passing of  Alex Fleming on Sunday night.

Alec was 91 this year and recently celebrated his 60th wedding anniversary. He had been an active volunteer as the first aid coordinator at the Club for 28 years. He first joined the club in 1980. Rarely was there a Sunday morning when Alex was not in attendance as first aid man to all junior teams for these 28 years. He administered first aid to both home and away teams and advised on further treatment as necessary. He was always on hand to offer advice to players, parents, team managers and coaches. He was also our first aid trainer and consultant and led many training sessions throughout his time to club members so that they too could administer first aid. He will be sadly missed by all at the club who were lucky enough to make his acquaintance.

We offer our sincere condolences to his wife Julie, daughters Mandy and Wendy and their spouses and children.

You can leave a tribute to Alex here and your tributes will be passed on to his family.
