Christmas and New Year Bar Opening Times

Christmas and New Year Bar Opening Times.
Despite all our best efforts it would appear that the arrival of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 has had a detrimental effect on our ability to open the club bar a) due to a number of positive COVID-19 tests amongst our staff and b) an understandable reluctance from our members to come to the club and socialise indoors. So, with the safety of all staff and customers at the forefront of our mind it is with regret that we have once again had to make the decision to close the club bar with immediate effect up to and including Friday 7th January, 2022. Subject to any further and/or updated Government advise we plan to re-open the bar from Saturday 8th January, 2022.

This sadly means the Cancellation of our Boxing Day Game and our New Year’s Eve Party. Those that had pre-booked tickets for New Year will be eligible for a full refund.

We were so looking forward to being a part of your festive celebrations and welcoming in the New Year with you but alas for the second year running COVID-19, the real GRINCH has stolen our Rugby Christmas and New Year celebrations!

Provision of Rugby
Subject to any contrary advice from the Government or RFU outside Rugby activity will recommence after the Christmas Break from Sunday 2nd January, 2022.
