Victoria Broad
Vikki has been co-opted onto the Club Executive as our 3rd members’ representative. Vikki will join our current members’ representatives Ben White and Jack Christy. Vikki will also act as minutes secretary and meeting organiser.

Members’ representatives act as the link between the club committees and the club members; a voice from the floor on issues that the club committees may not have picked up on or recognised; direct member concerns to the appropriate committee with an open mind; represent members views and not set their own agenda; promote and apply an inclusive style of representation; improve communication and contribute to the general standard and running of the club.

Vikki
“I’m Vikki, and I’ve been on the Harlow Ladies team since March 2021. I’m out injured so you’ll most likely see me running very slowly at training or taking photos at all of the ladies matches. It’s been great to take up a new sport and join the very best group of ladies – I’ve learnt a lot and made some incredible friends! I work in digital marketing, looking at strategy, planning, budgets, and partnerships; I’m really looking forward to joining the exec and I hope the skills I have will help to make a difference at Harlow Rugby Club”

Ben, Jack and Vikki can be contacted at membersrep@harlowrugby.club

Kevin Harman
Kev has been appointed to the Clubs Rugby Committee as Club Coaching Coordinator and a newly formed position of Vice-Chair of Rugby. In his new role Kev will take over the responsibility of running the rugby committee meetings and setting the meeting agenda. I will remain on the rugby committee as chair of rugby and report to the executive. My role will become one of oversight. Kev will be the go to person for most ‘rugby operations’. I will also continue to manage, fixtures, grounds, equipment, kit and setting the budgets.

As the Club Coaching Coordinator Kev will be the link between the development of the coaching staff, the RFU rugby development officer and the RFU. Alongside our senior coaches Kev will be the main contact for coaching matters within the club and be responsible for delivering our coaching curriculum to all sections of the club. As Vice-Chair of Rugby Kev will help me and the senior coaches set the vision for the club both in terms of the immediate short term plans and the longer term rugby development plans of the club. Kev will also remain as Rams manager/coach.

Kev
“Having been a player and coach at Harlow for many years it’s amazing to see how far the club has already come. I’m really excited to have the opportunity to help take Harlow rugby further forward. All the way from give rugby a try right through to the minis, youth girls and boys, colts, ladies and men. I believe we’re only just starting to realise our potential and have a great future ahead of us“

Megan will be the voice of the ladies on the committee helping ensure we create a positive rugby environment and communication flow for all. It is a position that encourages full engagement from teams and a ‘working together’ attitude.

Megan
“I am Megan and I am entering my 5th season as a Harlow Ladies player. I have enjoyed my time at the club, even training outside in the winter, and want to help promote the fabulous ladies I play alongside. Women’s sport has taken off over the last couple of years and I am hoping to capture the enthusiasm and help the ladies coaching staff to build a bigger and stronger squad”

Megan can be contacted at ladiesrep@harlowrugby.club

Congratulations to Vikki, Kev and Megan. These appointments will create greater club diversity and connectivity and will help to advise and steer the committees on how to strengthen our relationships throughout the club. I for one look forward to working closely with them all to help drive more impactful engagement with all of you. Please contact me if you have any questions on our path forward.
