Three try Weston overcomes a resilient Chelmsford.

Playing up the slope and against the wind Harlow put early pressure on Chelmsford.

Harlow pushed the ball quickly to the wings  stretching Chelmsford’s defence.

Michael Weston took early advantage by penetrating their back line within 5 minutes, passing to supporting Andrew Tarsey to score Harlow s first try.

Harlow looked to be in control after 26 minutes scoring 2 further tries from Ross Stalley and Michael Weston and  comfortable with a 17- 3 lead.

Within 10 minutes the tables were turned with Chelmsford scoring 2 tries. One being an interception from Harlow’s half.  Harlow then saw their winger Dale Stalley yellow carded for a try saving tackle which the referee perceived to be too high. This put the score at 20 – 17 to Chelmsford at Half Time.

Beginning the 2nd half with a man down Harlow needed to keep their heads.

Within 2 minutes a quick inside pass to Michael Weston gave him his second try of the game.

A great individual run by winger Scott Whitby crashing past the opposition and bouncing back off the ground from a tackle scored Harlow’s 5th try.

After 53 minutes Harlow were back in control leading 31- 20.

Further tries from Dale Stalley and  Prop, Jack Christy and a third try from Weston saw Harlow’s lead extend to 50 – 25.

A final try from sub Alfie Clark concerted  by Danny Smith  Made the final score 57 – 25.
