Today 11 of our U14’s played host to a combined team from Bedford/Biggleswade and Datchworth, playing 3 × 20 min segments.
Our opponents took an early 2 try advantage, before Harlow replied with 4 tries.
Going into the 2nd segment and Harlow extended their lead and by the end of this period our girls were winning 10 tries to 5.
The final segment and it was a worrying time, as our opponents scored 3 quick tries in succession to bring it back to 10-8. But it was to little, to late as Harlow scored 2 more tries to make it a Harlow victory 12-8.
A great all round performance, with special mentions for Elsie, Bella and Leah S. However our player of the week goes to Lily, for her true grit determination along with rucking, tackling and getting her name on the score sheet.
