Guest Rugby Coaches to take Harlow Rugby Training Session

The club have been lucky enough to secure a one-off Colts and Senior Men coaching session with coaches Mike Umaga a former Samoan International and current National 1 Coach; Mike Friday the Head Coach of the USA’s Rugby Sevens Team and Sam Howard a former Premiership player and current National 1 Coach.

Chair of Rugby Paul Tucker said: “Harlow Rugby Club are extremely pleased to be welcoming coaches of Mike, Mike’s and Sam’s calibre and we all look forward to the session. This is an excellent opportunity for the club and the players to benefit from a different style of coaching.”

Head Coach Tom Hughes said: “I love the idea of getting some guest coaches in, a different voice and different focus will go down amazingly well.”

Newly appointed Colts Head Coach and facilitator for the night Owen Coyne said: “This is a great opportunity for all players and coaches to experience coaching of the highest level. I look forward to what will be a memorable night. Mike Friday former England 7’s Captain and 7’s World Cup Winner is recognised as one of the best coaches in the world. Mike Umaga is brother of Tana Umaga former captain of New Zealand.”

This session is to be held on Thursday evening 8th August at 7:30pm and we expect a good turnout for what looks set to be a great night.
