Senior, Youth & Minis Training update 30 12 2020

So, following my post of 12 December it would appear that not everything is equal and now that we are in Tier 4 organised outdoor rugby activity with approved adaptations for both match play and training is permitted for U18s ONLY. Stage E of the Roadmap.

We have been reminded that, more so than ever, it is extremely important that clubs, players, coaches, match officials, volunteers, parents, carers and facility providers continue to strictly follow both the UK Government’s latest guidance on COVID-19 and RFU guidance to ensure we can continue our phased return to play. Clubs have been told to strictly limit the time spent congregating at the club before and after rugby activity and in our case to reinforce strict meeting and staggered start times.

As we know it is a fast moving scenario with the next Tier review due on 30th December. Hopefully, we will know a little more after that and we can make some better informed decisions about when we might be able to return to training. As it currently stands there will be no Rugby Activity at the club until Sunday 10th January (at the earliest) when our Minis and Youth might return.

I will update you all again early next week! Any questions please contact me directly.

Pease advise all of your players and parents, as applicable.

Keep Safe, Stay Safe and take care of yourself.
