Dear Members,
We extend our sincerest gratitude for your support and for your investment in the membership of our Club. Your contribution is vital to our ongoing success and operations.
We are a Members’ Club, and our sole purpose is to support rugby for its members, we actively encourage all who attend the Club for rugby purposes, to support our Community Amateur Sports Club.
This year we are amending our membership model to help us more closely align with our members’ needs. This assists us keep the overall cost of membership down and continue to deliver rugby at a low cost compared to many other sports.
We have been working hard to collate our membership records and prepare for the new season. At the AGM in June, we agreed with our members to increase membership a little for 2025/26 and to encourage all parents of existing Under 18s to become part of the club by signing up as an associate member. For new members this will commence this season.
This is in line with the approach many other clubs are taking and allows many more people to have the full membership experience and those over 18 take advantage of a 10% Bar Discount, International Tickets Ballot Entry, rugby playing provisions, have your say on how we operate at our Club AGM, hold a role as a Club Officer, Venue Hire Discount (availability restrictions apply). We are working to extend this discount into our food offerings from our kitchen. As we phase this in, new U18 members from this season will also need to have their parent join as an associate member (via GMS).
We have introduced new membership categories more suitable for our members, these include Vets/Social Player (Max 10games a year), splitting minis players to reflect how much they use the club Under 6-10 and Under 11-18.
We have simplified the way family membership is calculated. From 2025/26 family membership will be for those families with three or more members from the same household. We will calculate the total due and then discount the overall amount 25%.

What do you need to do?
If you already pay your membership through GMS, you do not need to do anything this will change automatically.
To become an associate member, please add the associate membership to your adult GMS account.
How do I purchase a membership?
If you need to set up a family membership, please email membership@harlowrugby.club
If your membership has expired, please take a look online to sign up again
From 2026/27, next season, we will be mandating that there is a parent as an associate member for all U18 players, along with introducing a signing on fee each year which will cover some kit relevant for their team, of course this will be aligning with what we offer in our new club shop, “Ram Shack“. The details of this will be worked on this season.
Please note you do not have to be a member to drink in our bar, to attend any public events and functions, or to come and watch rugby. But please do consider becoming an Associate Member.
We have relaunched the Ken Spooner & Chris Locke Fund to support the development of youth rugby. This fund is there to support young players participation in rugby with their teams. We believe someone’s personal financial circumstances should not prevent them taking part in rugby at Harlow. Should any of these changes affect your personal circumstances and cause financial challenges, please contact membership@harlowrugby.club to discuss some of the options we can offer.
Kind regards,
Paul Eynon
