Dear Club Members,
We’re keeping this month’s update short and to the point, ensuring our messaging stays clear and focused. As always, we’d love to hear your feedback. Please share this page with friends and family so they can stay up to date with the latest club news via email: Harlow Rugby Club Community.
- Financial Update
We’re starting to see positive progress! This past month, we successfully cleared our debt with Castle Water—a fantastic step forward. A huge thank you to Gordon Reid, who has been working closely with Tracey Wedd to transition the management of our finances, setting us up for a more transparent and stable future. Our long-term strategy is also developing well, helping us move closer to our goal of a thriving rugby club.
- Open Roles – Can You Help?
We’re looking for volunteers to help us push things forward faster:
Grants Manager – There are many funding opportunities available, from small-scale grants to major financial support. We need someone to coordinate our efforts and keep things on track. If you have experience or enthusiasm in this area, we’d love to hear from you.
Podcast Team – We’d love to launch a club podcast! If you’d like to be the voice of Harlow Rugby Club or help with editing and production, let us know.
- Membership Update
Our membership working group has submitted proposals for the 2025/26 season, which are currently under review. The work isn’t done yet—we’ll be meeting again in March to keep the momentum going.
- Sponsorship Opportunities
Our sponsorship and advertising working group will be meeting soon to refine our approach and secure long-term sustainability. If you’re interested in helping us build strong partnerships, we’d love your support.
- Constitution Review
David Eynon is leading an effort to update our club’s constitution to better reflect current operations. Once complete, we’ll publish a public version. If you’d like to be involved in this important review, please reach out.
We look forward to seeing you on the field and in the clubhouse soon. In the meantime, enjoy your rugby—however you play or support!
Kind regards,
Paul Eynon & Kev Harman
