As we grow our team at Harlow Rugby Club, we are moving towards our goal of succeeding both on and off the field.
At the executive level we continue to focus on tackling the financial challenges highlighted during our August AGM. At our members meeting we will cover much of the changes and the plan we are working to. In the meantime we want to give some early notice of the exciting things we need your help with.
We aim to make your involvement enjoyable, rewarding, and manageable by breaking tasks down into easy-to-handle pieces, ensuring it’s never overwhelming. We are looking for people who can join teams to enable us to:
- Join our sponsorship & advertising team. We need people who can put together packages, ensure payment, organise advertising and host sponsors.
- Are you a project manager? Could you take the lead on some of our key initiatives to help us achieve success?
- Could join our working group to plan our 70th year events?
- Could you help us grow our membership and reach out to previous members and help them sign up?
- Could you help us identify and pursue grant opportunities?
- Help us relaunch our club podcast, House of Rams.
- Could you be our Fixtures Secretary? (Minis, Juniors, Seniors)
- Could you fix something that is broken?
- Can you bring some fun to the club with team-building days, fundraising events, or any other enjoyable ideas that you can think up!
If volunteering isn’t feasible for you, there are still many ways to support us. Speak up by sharing ideas, identifying challenges, and suggesting solutions to those who can help bring them to life. Become a champion for Harlow Rugby Club by spreading the word about all the great things happening here.
Above all, the best way you can support us is by becoming a member. Our membership numbers are currently low, and by joining as an associate member, your monthly contribution will help us sustain rugby now and into the future. www.harlowrugby.club/
