It is with deep regret that I have to inform members that Dave passed away yesterday.
He was a stalwart and one of the Club’s most loyal servants. He started as a referee in the 70’s and then moved to junior coaching. At various times he has been Club secretary, press officer and leader of the Essex player exchange.
In 2019 he was awarded the Essex unsung hero award , a fitting tribute for his wonderful service to the Club and indeed to Harlow itself.
Our deepest sympathies go out to Pauline and his immediate family.
He will be missed.
Funeral of Dave Sharp:
This will take place on Monday 20 January,11.00am at Harlow crematorium then afterwards at Harlow rugby club. All welcome.
