Yesterday the Harlow Ladies Rugby had the ultimate honour of being chosen to play at the hallowed grounds of Twickenham Allianz Stadium as part of the ‘Play Together, Stay Together’ campaign by England Rugby – Selection was made to teams that showed community spirit within their club especially with finding innovative ways of inspiring adults to begin or to continue playing rugby.
The fixture came less than 24 hours after the Red Roses won the 6 Nations Trophy on the very same pitch! Many of Harlow Ladies also went to cheer them on as well!
It was a pleasure to also have the company of club representatives Stephen Foreman and Hayley Adams who took the time to come to attend and cheer the team on. We were also accompanied by members of the youth team showing them that they can also reach the stars!
