Membership Fee Announcement

Dear Member,

As discussed at our recent AGM, we continue to face significant financial challenges within the club. Consequently, we have reluctantly agreed to increase membership fees by an average of 15%, effective from 1st January 2025. This decision which hasn’t been made easily by the club’s executive however it is felt necessary to help towards stabilising our finances in the short term.

All direct debits will be automatically updated, and any renewals after 1st January will reflect the new rates.

For instance, under-18 players will see an increase from £12 to £13.80 per month, while senior players’ fees will rise from £23 to £26.45 per month. Below are further examples to show how this will affect you.

While this is an immediate tactical measure, we are also committed to reviewing our membership approach from a more strategic perspective. Paul Eynon, our new Transition Officer, is establishing a working group to conduct this review and would greatly appreciate your input. It’s important to note that, given our current financial situation, we are continuously reviewing all income streams, including but not limited to events, sponsorships, and bar revenue. Our goal is to remain competitive and aligned with market trends, while also staying mindful of our costs and what we need to accomplish to ensure our club remains a vibrant and thriving space for everyone to enjoy.
