Match Report

Harlows head coach Graham Richards returned to his old club Sudbury. With only 5 points separating the two teams in this top of the table clash.
Harlow found themselves under pressure straight away with the Sudbury back line attacking Harlow on their 22 metre line . Poor high tackling from Harlow allowed Sudbury to get the ball to their winger to score the 1st try.
Unfortunately after 12 minutes Harlow saw themselves 2 tries down with the score at 14 – 0.
Harlow’s only consolation in the first half was a fine individual try by Prop Scott Stalley giving Harlow hope with the scores at 14 – 5. Sudbury had other idea’s and in the 2nd quarter ran in 5 tries . Harlow had no answer to Sudbury’s attacking back line  making the score 45 – 5 at half time.
In the first 30 minutes of the second half Harlow contained Sudbury to just 2 tries .
Substitutes Rob Treamer,  Chay Clark & Tyler Howard getting valuable first team experience.
Sudbury’s relentless pressure saw them tear Harlow apart in the last 10 minutes of the half running in a further 3 tries. A consolation try for Weston leaving the final score at a disappointing 78 -10.
