HARLOW RUGBY CLUB REMEMBERS – 30 OCTOBER 2021

Harlow Rugby Club are proud to support The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal and help in making a contribution to raising much-needed funds to help people in the Armed Forces community.

During our 1st XV game at home to Kings Cross Steelers on 30 October 2021, players will wear specially commissioned, commemorative match shirts, kindly sponsored by Amicus Asset Finance.

These unique match shirts feature images of the airborne forces and infantry soldiers. In addition, and working with the Harlow Royal British Legion, the War Dead of Harlow are recognised, with their names adorning the lower part of the shirts, both front and back. The shirts will be auctioned after the game, with all the funds raised going to The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

This money will help the Legion offer support in many ways including providing crisis grants, lobbying the government on issues that affect the Armed Forces community, providing sport and art-based recovery programmes and advising on benefits and money problems.

If you are unable to attend the game and/or post-game auction commission bids will be accepted for the shirts numbered 1 – 18 by e-mailing Paul Tucker (Tux) rugby@harlowrugby.club
