The Captain Sir Tom Moore Challenge – Girls Section

Over the February half term, the girls section were challenged to the Captain Sir Tom Moore challenge.  Over the week, 17 girls and their manager took part.
The girls were amazing and really went for the challenge and totally smashed it.
Some completed over 26 miles in one day!! Others were walking, jogging or running 10km a day – everyone was so brilliant
Cindy, the girls manager say’s ‘I am so proud of their attitude and achievements. They were out in all weathers’.
In total the girls reached a distance of 646.46km / 401.7 miles.  Just over 100 times the distance set in the actual challenge – which represents Captain Sir Toms 100 years.
Here are some pictures of the girls (they weren’t very keen on sending pictures of themselves)
Well done girls, fantastic job
