Harlow Rugby Club are pleased to announce that 7 of our players are to receive county honours having been selected to play for the Essex WoodenSpoon team.
Congratulations to Ben White, Darryl Guy, Dan Treamer, Kenny Smith, Mitch Sinfield, Simon Vanbeck & Luke Hardie.
The first fixture of the season sees them travel to Birmingham to play in the largest gathering of vets players at the VetsFest on the 30th September 2023. The squad will play against other county teams throughout the day in a group stage, which ends in knock out rounds.
Ben White who has also been confirmed as the Essex Captain for this season said…“It is a huge honour to be selected to play for the county, and such a rewarding experience to raise money for vulnerable, disabled or disadvantaged children within Essex. I’m very proud of Harlow Rugby Club for becoming a WoodenSpoon partner club which further shows its huge commitment to the local community and children of Essex”
